In 1999 from the combination Champion Rincen-Cunu van 't Burgstse Hof and Kensing Tiara we kept a bith in our kennel. This was Tara Pul-i-Khumri. She became at the club day of the Pekingees en Dwergspanielclub in juni 2000, Best Tibetan Spaniel. She was only 9 month old by that time! That day there were 12 Tibetans present at the show.
From 2002 she may call herself Dutch Champion and International Champion. And in 2003 also Belgium Champion. At the 2004 Winner Show in Amsterdam she became ‘Winster ‘04’. Her daughter Lha-Mu Pul-i-Khumri got the title ‘Youth Winner ’04'.
In 2004 we went to Crufts in the UK, the greatest dog show on earth! There she was the first Dutch Tibetan Spaniel at a Crufts show and she was placed in her class as nr. 7 with a ‘Commended’. That year 162 Tibetan Spaniels were present, so her placement was a great honor for us!
A few months after her mother Tiara died she became the leading dog in our kennel. Although she is not the oldest dog, she has a quiet preponderance over the other dogs. She is a very sweet dog, and she likes to go her own way. Maybe strangers think that she is a bit indifferent, but when I should have a favourite dog, she will be it! She is my princess.
